Collaborative Programs and Transfer Agreements

The UNCW Watson School of Education and James Sprunt Community College are very proud to offer the BA in Elementary Education online degree to students interested in working as K-5 teachers in public schools.

If you are interested in knowing more about this convenient program, please contact Dr. Lisa Keenan at 910-455-8034 or in order to get academic advice and basic registration information. This online program helps future teachers complete their college education without leaving Duplin county.

Online instruction and field experience work will equip students with skills that will enable them to become successful elementary school educators.

UNCW has an articulation agreement in place with JSCC that allows graduates with an AAS in Early Childhood Education to transfer those credits into the Bachelor of Arts degree in Education of Young Children program.  For more information visit
