New Student Orientation  
 JSCC Video Snapshot 



First-time college students at JSCC should attend a New Student Orientation Session. This orientation is designed to provide new students with the information they will need to have a successful first year at JSCC. These sessions will offer students information essential to their academic success, allow new students to meet faculty and staff, and give students the opportunity to register for class. Attendees should complete an application, and have placement test scores on file before attending the New Student Orientation.


  


Step 1:
Prepare for the New Student Orientation 


Have on file a completed JSCC application

         to complete the application online go to - Online Application

         to complete the application in person - applications can be found in the registrar's office


A copy of your placement test scores on file at JSCC

SAT or ACT scores (if available)

If needed, official college transcripts on file in the registrar's office

Step 2: Attend the Event
