Your Bridge To Success

James Sprunt Community College operates an “Open Door” admissions policy that does not impose restrictive standards for admissions and is open to all those 18 or older or whose high school class has graduated.

The William H. Wiggs Library at James Sprunt Community College is responsible for developing and delivering learning resource services and programs which enrich and support the College curriculum and help students meet their educational goals.

The library is located on the first floor of the Boyette Building and offers a variety of services, including reference assistance, interlibrary loan, photocopying, printing, and Internet access.

As of January 2011, the Local History room contains state-of-the-art classroom technology for information literacy instruction and other academic skill workshops. This facility was supported by grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the federal Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.

An additional classroom is wired for ITV (video conferencing) classes.
