Customized Training Program

The Customized Training Program provides specialized training assistance in support of full-time production or direct customer service positions currently existing or newly created in Duplin County. Those businesses/industries eligible for training support through the Customized Training Program include: Manufacturing, Technology Intensive (i.e., Information Technology, Life Science), Regional or Warehousing and Distribution Centers, Customer Support Center, Air Courier Services, National Headquarters with operations outside North Carolina and Civil Service employees providing technical support to US military installations located in North Carolina.

A needs analysis is conducted and training is developed to fit those specific needs. Training programs are developed to address the special demands in the workplace. Programs may cover such topics as: industrial mechanics, electrical/electronics, CNC, robotics, forklift certification, pallet jack certification, cranes and slings certification, electrical safety in the workplace and many other specialized areas of training.

Customized Training is available to industries that require training for a small number of employees. Classes can take place on or off site, and are tailored to your specific training needs. Businesses/industries that would like to obtain more information about how the “Customized Training Program” can assist with their training needs should call:
