As Duplin County grows, James Sprunt Community College needs to grow with it in order to provide the same quality education for an increasing number of students. Rapid advances in technology make it imperative for educational facilities to secure sufficient funding to cover the high costs of technological improvements. Without continued and increased support many students worthy and capable of earning a college degree may not have the opportunity because they simply cannot afford the cost. Without your help, JSCC is at risk of losing its ability to provide students with the up-to-date training for today's competitive job market. Without your help the JSCC Foundation may not be able to provide financial assistance to deserving students who are eager to acquire the skills and knowledge that will allow them to become vital and productive citizens.

WAYS TO GIVE
There are several ways individuals or organizations may contribute to the
James Sprunt Community College Foundation:
• Unrestricted Gifts to the annual giving program. Unrestricted gifts are used by the foundation to meet current needs or are placed in the general endowment fund.
• Special Gifts Restricted by Donor for a particular purpose, such as student scholarships.
• Capital Gifts to provide for endowments, equipment, or building projects.
• Planned Gifts such as bequests and insurance policies to provide a basis for future needs.
• JSCC Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament - (Every October - To participate contact our office).
Gifts may be made as a memorial to a loved one, or in honor of a special individual or occasion. The foundation staff will be happy to answer any questions regarding memorial giving and the many ways you can “partner” with the James Sprunt Community College Foundation and the future of your community college.
