The Agribusiness Technology curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for careers in the agribusiness segment of the agricultural industry. It provides an understanding of basic business concepts and principles as they relate to the agricultural industry. Students will learn the principles of organization and management in agricultural businesses and the application of these principles in agricultural production. Students will also learn the basic principles of our economic system and government policies and programs relating to agriculture. Graduates should qualify for a variety of jobs in agricultural businesses such as equipment, feed, and agricultural supply sales, store management, farm operations, and office management of agricultural products marketing firms.
