Special Programs

Aside from the opportunity to provide scholarships to deserving individuals, your gifts also help support programs at JSCC such as;

  • Student Leadership Program where students take part in personal development and learn good citizenship and interviewing skills. During interviews they are introduced to organizations in the community, improving chances of early employment following graduation.
  • Annual Mini Grant Program that offers faculty and staff of JSCC the opportunity to apply for funds that will help them enrich the academic and overall environment of the college. Monies offered through this program can help an instructor implement a new form of instruction by purchasing new and updated equipment.
       Mini Grant Awarded for Fall of 2009

  • JSCC Student Writing Competition Awards - Provide cash awards to the winners of the writing competition. The competition encourages students to share their creative writing skills with the entire campus community.
