Disability Services


  • Support for participants with disabilities is provided for 100% of the participants who have a disability.
  • The Special Needs Adviser identifies instructional modifications to learning aids, organizes and supervises written and oral testing.
  • Note takers, readers, and tutors are provided for students with disabilities to assist in classroom and laboratory settings, ensuring optimal student success.
  • The Special Needs Adviser consults with local agencies such as the North Carolina Rehabilitation Commission, VR, Services for the Blind and other agencies that serve the disabled population on a regular basis.
