How to Apply
(SSS)

Am I eligible?
You may be eligible if:  

• Are a first generation college student (that means that neither of your parents holds a Bachelors' degree)
• Meet the current requirement for low income families
• Have an academic need
• Have a physical or learning disability

How do I qualify?
All you have to do to join this program is:

• Be an enrolled or registered JSCC student in a curriculum program
• Complete a Student Support Services application
• Provide income verification and complete the Federal Financial Aid application, and if applicable, provide disability documentation.   

How do I apply?
Call 910-296-2446 for an application, stop by our offices in the Strickland Center on the JSCC Campus, or download an Application Packet (PDF) and bring it by our offices. Turn the completed application into any SSS staff member, and you will be notified shortly regarding your application status.
