Registration

A registration day is provided for students immediately prior to the beginning of each semester. Students are expected to register at the specified times listed in the academic calendar. 

Tuition and fees are payable at the time of registration or by the end of the official registration day for the semester, regardless of start date of class(es). Students may register for classes starting other than the first of the semester on the first day of class if space is available.

No students will be allowed to register after classes begin, unless the class has yet to meet.

Summer 2010 Pre-Registration:
Monday-Thursday April 12-15, 2010
(Before Pre-Registration utilizing WebAdvisor, students must make appointment with advisor to remove Academic Advising holds)

In April, currently enrolled students will be able to use Web Registration through WebAdvisor to pre-register for their Summer classes. Web Registration will not be available on April 12-15 from 1:00am to 6:00am.
Web Registration is not available for High School or Correctional Center students.

Fall 2010 Pre-Registration using WebAdvisor: Monday-Thursday April 19-22, 2010 (Before Pre-Registration utilizing WebAdvisor, students must make an appointment with advisor to remove Academic Advising Holds).

In April, currently enrolled students will be able to use Web Registration through WebAdvisor to pre-register for their Fall classes. Web Registration will not be available on April 19-22 from 1:00am to 6:00am. Web Registration is not available for High School or Correctional Center students.

Fall 2010 Pre-Registration with Advisor: Monday-Thursday April 26-29, 2010

Student meets with their advisor to remove Academic Advising Holds and the advisor will pre-register the student.



Below are steps for students who want to pre-register themselves using Web Registration:

1:
Make an appointment with their advisor to go over classes and have the advisor remove Academic Advising Hold.


2: Students using WebAdvisor to pre-register for classes, WebAdvisor is not available from 1:00am to 6:00am. Directions for using WebAdvisor can be found on the JSCC website under the "How To..." link on the left navigation bar.

3: See advisor if there were course conflicts, course pre-requisits not met or other pre-registration issues.
