Author, Thomas Friedman describes three phases of globalization in his best selling book, The World is Flat. The first phase was country to country, second phase corporation to corporation, third phase individual to individual. As individuals the best way to understand globalization is to enhance our knowledge of other countries.

Faces of The World will introduce you to various countries. Listen to students and educators from India, Mexico, China, Honduras and Spain. Visit ancient archaeological sites and some of the world’s most modern architecture. Other interesting topics include transportation systems, music and dance, people at work, and religious practices.
