Concurrent/Dual Enrollment

The purpose of the Concurrent/Dual Enrollment program is to allow high school students who are at least 16 years of age to enroll in college-level courses as concurrent (dual) enrollees. 

 

How To Enter the Program 

  • Students must be recommended and get permission from their principal and guidance counselor at their school.
  • All students must have parental consent.
  • All students must fill out the appropriate applications and permission forms for the programs.
  • Applications are available through your guidance counselor in your school or at James Sprunt Community College.
  • All students must submit completed applications and permission forms to James Sprunt Community College.
  • All students must be making satisfactory progress toward their high school graduation.
  • All students must have access to a computer with internet service.
  • All students must be enrolled at least ½ time at their high school.

  • Tuition is FREE.  Student Must Pay for Books
