Online Orientation

If you are taking Internet courses for the first time there are basic questions you may have.  How do I attend class if I never meet face to face?  What skills do I need to be successful in an online course?  Do I need any special software?  These are a few of the questions that are covered in the online orientation.  Students are not required to complete this orientation but it may help address some of your concerns.

JSCC currently uses two course management systems to deliver online/hybrid courses; Moodle and Blackboard.  To find out which course management system you will be using go to
Log Into My Fall 2010 Course and locate your course and section.  The username and password to access both orientation sites is listed below.
