Subscribing to the philosophy of “life-long learning,” the Continuing Education Division offers a wide range of courses and programs for adults of all ages and interests.

Courses are offered in 10 broad program areas: occupational extension, allied health, basic skills, business & industry, community services, business & computer education, emergency medical services, human resources development, distance learning, fire services as well as workshops and seminars provided through the Small Business Center.

The Continuing Education Department offers classes throughout the county at many different locations. The listing here is a partial schedule of offerings planned for the upcoming semester. Classes may be offered in many areas based on the interests and suggestions of local citizens, provided class size is sufficient and an instructor is available.

Transcripts

Transcript Request Form

A transcript containing all Continuing Education (CE) classes attended at JSCC will be provided upon completion of a CE transcript request form.  CE transcripts are processed on Thursday’s only.  There is a $1.00 charge for each transcript requested.  The number of class hours, the CEU’s if applicable, class title and grade will be indicated on each transcript.  There is no cost for AHS transcripts.  For GED transcripts, a form can be picked up from the Basic Skills office.  There is no fee.
