Locks of Love Donation!
June King, a student at James Sprunt Community College, is ready for the kindest cut of all as Haley Cavenaugh, Cosmetology student at JSCC, and Renee Parrish, Cosmetology Instructor at JSCC, prepare to “trim” more than 20” of Ms. King’s hair to be donated to the Locks of Love organization. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
Ms. King lives in Beulaville and is taking Business Administration in her first semester at JSCC. Ms. Cavenaugh is from Wallace and will graduate this semester in Cosmetology and begin working at Salon Exclusive in Rose Hill.
